What we look for when scouting Creators/Influencers

With almost 200 creators on our list and very few projects (at the moment) we have to go through a rigorous process of find the perfect creator go work with.

Here are some of the key-points we look at.

Brand experience:
Sometimes it’s easier partnering with a content creator if they have experience working with brands. Especially when you know the terms and processes like having available media and rate kits, meeting deadlines, approval, the importance of timely turn around time after feedback. The sooner you familiarize yourself with these, the sooner and more frequent campaigns will land on your lap.

Post frequency:
How often do you post? Is your last post 2 months ago? Are your followers starving?
Content consistency establishes your credibility, builds trust, and strengthens your reputation as a content creator.

Authentic:
It's very important for creators to be true to themselves, creating trust with the audience. Social authenticity is a growing trend online, and a creator sharing honest user reviews plays an important role. Creators who are genuine online are likely to build a community of people who trust what they say and do.

Quality:
You must be able to create irresistible, on point and effective UGC. Make your content memorable, entertaining and & shareable. It goes without saying, UGC should be entertaining to your followers.

Originality:
You need to find a way to stand out from the crowd, and nothing stands out more on social media than being original. This speaks to being authentic because only you can be you.

Engagement:
If a creator’s social posts don’t get a lot of traction, that might be a sign that they aren’t actually influential. Engagement is an indicator of how interactive a creator's  audience is with the content.

Good social skills:
Are you great to work with? Personable? Likeable? Do you listen well to instructions? All this plays a role.
